h+h americas is off to a flying start. Following the show’s opening announcement the organizer already has received a high volume of inquiries and many sign-ups for this event.
In addition to the Craft Industry Alliance, additional support was secured today by inking an agreement with Indie Untangled, who will organize a group exhibit for startups in this industry. This online marketplace connects online buyers and sellers of hand-dyed yarn and fiber, handspun yarn, notions and accessories.
Indie Untangled will offer product demonstrations, panel discussions and business development classes during the h+h americas which will take place from June 22-24, 2022 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention & Conference Center in Rosemont, IL.
“With Indie Untangled we have just added another strong partner to our event. This online platform is well known for its deep reach into the buyers and sellers community while also educating and connecting this industry. We are confident this partnership will be valuable in our effort to deliver a high quality and diverse trade show and educational program. We look forward to this co-operation,” says Mette Petersen, President and Managing Director of Chicago-based Koelnmesse Inc.
Added Lisa Chamoff, owner of Indie Untangled: “I’m excited to work with new business owners to help them learn and grow at this event. Trade shows such as h+h americas are so valuable for our industry. We will help start-ups with an easy and affordable way to participate in h+h americas via our Indie Untangled Group Exhibit. We will publish details about how to participate in the upcoming weeks.”
h+h americas, the sister event of its German namesake, is slated to become the main U.S. industry event for buyers of home textiles, tapestry, sewing, knitting, crocheting, haberdashery, quilting, needlepoint, and business software and marketing solutions. It will be held in partnership with the Craft Industry Alliance, a membership organization that has served the craft professionals community since 2015.
