We are your dedicated Exhibitor Services Team, here to provide you with important updates, deadlines, and support to ensure your experience at h+h americas is seamless and successful. This bulletin is the first in a series – we will be with you every step of the way as we prepare for an exceptional show in 2026.

The state of Illinois has implemented a change to its tax regulations that impacts all leased or rented tangible personal property. This applies directly to some of the items you may rent for your booth.

What’s taxable:

• The following rented items will now include a 10.25% sales and use tax:
• Booth furniture
• Audio/Visual equipment
• Lighting
• Signs
• Electrical and internet accessories (e.g., power cords, cube taps, wireless routers)

What’s NOT Taxable:

• Labor services
• Electrical service
• Internet service
• Booth cleaning
• Material handling

Are you tax-exempt in Illinois?

If so, you must submit a valid Illinois Sales Tax Exemption Certificate to our office before placing any taxable orders .
