From the airport, the train, or the road.
By Air.
Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is only a few minutes from the convention center. Rosemont is one of the closest hotel-and-meeting districts to O'Hare in the Chicago area.
By CTA "L".
The CTA Blue Line runs directly between O'Hare and the Rosemont station in under 15 minutes. It's a short walk from Rosemont station to the convention center. For visitors coming from downtown Chicago, take the Blue Line toward O'Hare and get off at Rosemont / River Road.
By Taxi & Shuttle.
Taxi and rideshare service between O'Hare and Rosemont is plentiful, with pickup and drop-off at the main circular drive at 5555 N. River Road. Most Rosemont hotels also offer complimentary O'Hare shuttle service, so check with your hotel when you book.
By Metra & Pace Bus.
The Metra Rosemont station is roughly a 10-minute walk to the center. The free Pace Route 811 Entertainment Circulator also loops between the Rosemont Transit Center, Parkway Bank Park, the Fashion Outlets, and the convention center.
By Car.
The convention center sits at the intersection of I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) and I-294. From O'Hare, take I-190 east and exit River Road south — the center is about a block ahead. From Chicago, take I-90 west toward O'Hare and exit River Road. From Indiana on I-294 north, exit Balmoral, then left onto River Road.
Parking.
Two public garages serve the center: the William Street Garage (9500 Williams Street) and the East Garage (9221 Bryn Mawr Avenue). Parking is currently about $20 for 24 hours (no in-and-out; rate subject to change), with a skybridge connecting to the hall. The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center has accessible parking, entrances and restrooms. If you need something specific to plan your visit, ask us before you travel and we will get you a straight answer rather than a guess.
Mobility scooters and wheelchairs
Scooters and wheelchairs can be rented on site through RES, who hold a limited inventory. Book ahead rather than on the day, because when they are gone they are gone.
