Creator Hotel Stay Sweepstakes: Official Rules.

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The h+h americas Fall Creator Hotel Stay Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by Koelnmesse Inc., 8770 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60631 ("Sponsor").

Sponsor is solely responsible for the Sweepstakes, including eligibility, these Official Rules, winner selection and notification, and fulfillment of the prize. Stitchcraft Marketing promotes the Creator Program on Sponsor's behalf but does not administer or fulfill the Sweepstakes.

2. Eligibility

Open to content creators who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The minimum age of 21 is required because the prize is a hotel accommodation and the prize hotel requires guests registering a room to be at least 21 years of age.

For purposes of the Sweepstakes, a creator is an individual who regularly produces public facing content relating to knitting, crochet, yarn and fiber arts, quilting, sewing, embroidery and needle arts, crafting and DIY, craft education, pattern or project design, craft retail and industry content, or other creative disciplines represented at h+h americas. Content may be published through Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, blogs, podcasts, newsletters or other relevant media. There is no minimum audience size or engagement requirement. Sponsor reserves sole discretion to determine whether an entrant qualifies as a creator.

Exhibitors and speakers at h+h americas Fall are eligible to enter.

Not eligible: employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of Koelnmesse Inc., Koelnmesse GmbH and Stitchcraft Marketing, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related.

3. Promotion Period

The Sweepstakes begins on the date the creator invitation is first distributed and ends on 8 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (the "Entry Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. Sponsor's computer is the official time keeping device.

4. How to Enter

To enter, complete the designated h+h americas Fall creator survey in full before the end of the Entry Period, including accurate information about your content channels and audience reach.

Entry is free. No purchase or payment of any kind is required, and registration for h+h americas Fall is not required in order to enter. Registration and attendance are conditions of accepting the prize, described in Section 9.

Limit one entry per person. Entries are deduplicated by email address. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or that contain inaccurate information may be disqualified. Automated, robotic, programmed or third party entry methods are void.

5. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded: a three (3) night hotel stay at a hotel selected by Sponsor in Houston, Texas, checking in on Tuesday 29 September 2026 and checking out on Friday 2 October 2026.

Approximate retail value (ARV): $525 USD. The reservation will be made and paid for directly by Sponsor.

The prize consists of room rate and applicable taxes only. All other costs are the sole responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to travel to and from Houston, ground transportation, parking, resort or facility fees, meals, incidentals, gratuities, and any charges made to the room.

The difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the prize, if any, will not be awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

6. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

7. Winner Selection

One (1) potential winner and two (2) alternates will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor's staff on or about 10 September 2026. The drawing will be witnessed by at least two members of Sponsor's staff and recorded in writing. Sponsor's decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be notified by telephone and email on or about 11 September 2026 using the contact information supplied in the survey.

The potential winner must respond and return a signed prize acceptance, publicity release and liability waiver by 18 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond by the deadline, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or cannot satisfy the conditions in Section 9, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the first alternate, and then to the second alternate on the same terms.

9. Conditions of Prize Acceptance

To accept the prize, the winner must:

• Be registered for h+h americas Fall. Creator registration is complimentary.
• Attend h+h americas Fall in Houston on the dates covered by the hotel stay.
• Sign and return the prize acceptance, publicity release and liability waiver by the deadline in Section 8.
• Complete the content and disclosure requirements in Section 10.

These are conditions of accepting the prize. They are not requirements to enter the Sweepstakes.

10. Content and Disclosure Requirements

As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner agrees to publish a minimum of three (3) posts or stories about their h+h americas Fall experience on any channel or channels where the winner has an established audience, tagging @hhamericas, published between 30 September and 16 October 2026.

Disclosure is mandatory. Each post must clearly and conspicuously disclose that Sponsor provided the hotel stay and event badge, using #ad or #sponsored placed where the audience will readily see it, near the beginning of the caption rather than within a block of hashtags. In video content the disclosure must also be stated audibly. This is required by the United States Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, and responsibility rests with both the creator and Sponsor.

These obligations apply to the prize winner only. Other participants in the Creator Program are not required to publish any content. All creators who receive a complimentary badge, sample kit or pass should nonetheless disclose that material connection when they choose to post about h+h americas.

Content must not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing of any third party right, and must not disparage Sponsor, its exhibitors or its partners.

11. Prize Conditions and Restrictions

The prize is non transferable. No cash equivalent and no substitution will be offered, except by Sponsor as provided in Section 5. The prize is awarded as is and without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Sponsor is not responsible for any cancellation, downgrade, overbooking, closure or other act or omission of the hotel or any third party supplier.

12. Taxes

All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and valid photo identification prior to receipt of the prize.

13. Publicity

Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner's consent to Sponsor's use of the winner's name, likeness, city and state of residence, channel handles, and content created in connection with the Sweepstakes, for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. Scope and duration are set out in the publicity release.

14. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, Koelnmesse GmbH, Stitchcraft Marketing, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance or use of the prize, or attendance at h+h americas Fall.

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or undeliverable entries or notifications, or for technical failures of any kind.

15. Platform Disclaimer

The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, or any other platform. Entrants understand they are providing information to Sponsor and not to any platform.

16. Privacy

Information collected through the creator survey is used by Sponsor to administer the Sweepstakes and the Creator Program, and to communicate about h+h americas events. Information is handled in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy, available at www.koelnmesse.us.

Creator Program participants will receive an h+h University pass for the Spring 2027 edition of h+h americas. Sponsor will contact participants by email in advance of that event in order to issue it.

17. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs its integrity or proper functioning, or where required by law. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

If any provision of these Official Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

19. Winner List

For the name of the winner, send a written request with a self addressed stamped envelope to: Creator Sweepstakes Winner List, Koelnmesse Inc., 8770 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 1300, Chicago, IL 60631, to be received no later than 30 November 2026.
