h+h americas invites working journalists, digital media professionals, and content creators to apply for official credentials to cover North America’s leading trade event for the fiber arts and crafts industry.

Whether you’re a reporter, blogger, YouTuber, or influencer, this is your opportunity to engage with global brands, discover trends, and connect with the heart of the handmade community.

Who Qualifies for Press & Creator Credentials?

Credentials are reserved for working media and content creators attending on assignment or actively publishing content relevant to the handmade, fiber arts, or crafts industries. All applications are reviewed and subject to approval by Show Management.

✅ Eligibility Guidelines

Print Media

• Masthead from a current issue listing your editorial role.
• Published article with your byline within the past 3 months.
• Business card from your media outlet.

Broadcast Media

• Assignment letter from a producer/editor on official letterhead or from a company email.
• Press photo ID.
• Business card with editorial title.

Digital Media / Bloggers

• Masthead or link to a current, established blog or consumer publication listing you as a contributor.
• New content published within the past 3 months on topics relevant to crafts or fiber arts.
• Minimum 5,000 unique monthly visitors (verification via Google Analytics or similar).
• Product giveaways, contests, or non-editorial content do not qualify.

YouTubers / Video Creators

• Fiber arts/craft-focused content posted within the past 6 months.
• Minimum 500,000 average monthly views (analytics required).
• Freelancers & Video Production Companies
• Assignment letter from a recognized publication or network.
• Proof of recent freelance activity (published/aired within 4 months).
• Business card listing editorial or production role.

Social Media Influencers

• Minimum 5,000 followers on a relevant platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Active posting of original content tied to the craft/fiber community.
• Encouraged to include engagement metrics (reach, impressions, etc.).
• Accounts are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

❌ Who Does Not Qualify

• Bloggers with fewer than 5,000 monthly unique visitors.
• Freelancers not recently published or without an official assignment.
• Personal blogs, forums, and non-editorial social channels.
• Sales, marketing, PR, or advertising professionals not involved in editorial coverage.
• Photographers/videographers hired by exhibiting companies (register via exhibitor).
• Company executives, consultants, and others attending for business—not media—purposes.
• Friends or family of credentialed media.
• Any applicant deemed by Show Management to not meet the intent of press access.

📝 Registration & Approval Process

All applications must include the required documentation outlined above. Prior approval or past attendance does not guarantee future credentials. Misrepresentation of affiliation or misconduct may result in revocation of access and disqualification from future events.
