We are excited to be planning for h+h americas, which will be hosted in-person at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, on May 1 – 3, 2024.

Qualifying for Press Credentials
Media accreditation is reserved for working journalists in print, broadcast, and digital media on assignment or conducting research for established publications and media outlets. This includes reporters, editors, and publishers. Film crews and photographers must have proof of assignment.
All credential requests are subject to approval by Show management. h+h americas staff reserves the right to deny an applicant a press badge if sufficient credentials are not provided.
Print Media
- Masthead from a current issue of a publication listing you as an editorial contributor.
- Article published within the past three months with your byline.
- Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role.
Broadcast Media
- Letter from the editor/producer on station/network letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering h+h americas on assignment.
- Press photo ID from your media outlet.
- Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role.
Digital Media/Bloggers
- Masthead from a current issue of a consumer online publication or blog listing you as an editorial contributor. The site must be previously established, independent, and regularly updated with original and current relevant news.
- Bloggers must have created new content within the past three months on topics related to the fiber arts/crafts industry. Product giveaways and contests do not qualify. Bloggers may be asked to provide evidence from a data-tracking service (i.e. Compete.com or Google Analytics) that unique visitors exceed 5,000 per month. Blogs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- YouTube channels must have created new content within the past six months on topics related to the fiber arts/crafts industry. YouTubers must provide evidence from a data-tracking service (i.e. Google Analytics) demonstrating a minimum of 500,000 average monthly views.
- All bloggers are subject to review and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approval by h+h americas Show Management is at their discretion
Freelancers & Video Production Companies
- Letter from the editor/producer on station/network letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering h+h americas on assignment.
- Proof of regular freelance journalism activity. (published/broadcasted within the past four months)
- Business card reflecting editorial role.
Social Media Influencers
- Minimum following of 5,000 followers
- Must publish quality content
- Influencers are encouraged to include their social media key performance indicators
- All influencers are subject to review and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approval by h+h americas Show Management is at their discretion
Who Does Not Qualify as Press?
- Bloggers with less than 5,000 unique visitors per month (additionally, all blogs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
- Freelancers who have not published or broadcast stories related to the fiber arts/crafts industry in the past year and do not have a letter of assignment for h+h americas.
- Facebook, Twitter, personal blogs, forums, communities, and user groups that Show Management does not deem appropriate (additionally, all influencers are evaluated on a case-by-case basis). Social media accounts and newsletters tied to product or service providers would also not qualify.
- Production/film crews/photographers hired to film an exhibitor at h+h americas (must register through exhibitor).
- Friends and family of journalists.
- Sales, marketing, and advertising executives and other non-editorial media staff.
- Company presidents, general managers, industry consultants, and public relations professionals (agency or company-based), writers for company newsletters and websites.
- Anyone whose principal purpose for attending h+h americas is, in our judgment, for reasons other than covering it as working news media. h+h americas officials reserve the right to deny press credentials.
Registration Approval
Approval for press credentials is contingent upon receiving the above-mentioned information along with your registration submission. A history of being registered previously for h+h americas does not guarantee approval or waive the accreditation requirement. Misconduct or misrepresentation of position and/or publication/news organization may result in loss of press credentials and jeopardize future attendance.
We reserve the right to modify this policy without public notice and to revoke previously issued h+h americas accreditation/registration at any time.
